Introducing the all new EVO UV from Evolution Aqua
Evolution Aqua has again raised the bar in performance and features with an all new ultra-violet pond clarifier. These feature rich units include unique features such as;
· Computer modeled deflectors with and increased volume to ensure that the flow of water has a maximum exposure to the UV light.
· UV stabilized PE outer casing which has a higher reflective index than stainless steel.
· Unique design provides less head loss than other manufacturer’s models, thus saving on operating costs.
· Thermal safety protection means that the unit will switch off before it overheats.
· Electronic ballast uses less electricity.
And best of all, the range includes an integrated power and lamp life indicator. This feature will leave no doubt when the UV is working and when the lamps need to be replaced. The lamp indicator will glow purple when the power is on. As the lamp is nearing the end of its life, the indicator will begin to flash. And when the lamp has reached its end of life, the indicator will glow red which is your alert that it needs to be replaced. Even if the UVis turned off, the internal timer chip will remember how long the bulb has left to run.
The EVO system will be available in two lamp sizes - 55 watt and 110 watt (comprising two 55 watt lamps). Units will be available May2011. However we are taking pre-orders for them now with a special introductory offer: Free shipping on orders placed before April 30th.
