Evolution Aqua’s New Pure Pond Filter

The PURE Pond Filtration System is a new type of filter designed for the smaller pond and for use on quarantine systems. The PURE Pond filtration systems utilise Evolution Aqua’s Pure Pond and Kaldnes K1 media, which allows the filter system to achieve optimum results. Being an Evolution Aqua filter, they are incredibly easy to install, use, and clean.

The PURE POND Filtration System is available for ponds up to 10,000 litres, with or without a circulating pump.

How it works

As pond water is pumped through the filtration system, it passes through four successive filtration stages:

STAGE 1. UV-C filter, The PURE Pond 10,000 has a built in 18 Watt UV. This stage will clear green water, which is caused by single cell algae, and prevent it from returning.

STAGE 2. Mechanical stage, where pond water passes through a basket containing Kaldnes K1 Media, removing solid waste from the water.

STAGE 3. Aeration stage, where pond water passes through a trickle filter screen, which replenishes the water’s oxygen levels and encourages gaseous exchange with the atmosphere.

STAGE 4. Biological stage, where pond water passes through a basket holding the award winning, PURE POND bio balls (not included) promoting beneficial bacteria colonies. This will help the filter keep the pond water healthy and safe for your fish.

The PURE Pond 10,000 Model is supplied with:

- 18 Watt UV

- Assembly Fittings

Models with a Pump include a 4,000 Litre (1050 gph) / hour circulating pump
